KristySam is so excited he’s giddy!
Last weekend we were trying to get a general pace plan for our trip. We are bringing Smith with us we know we will need to board her while in the national parks (no dogs allowed, ba bah bum). I need to make reservations for her, so we kind of needed to know when about we should reserve. We figured about when we would be in Moab and low and behold, there is an off-roading event that same week! Now Sam has always wanted to off road the big trails but first, it’s safer when you have a few vehicles, and secondly he’s not confident of what we would be getting into. Finding this event was so perfect. Gonemoab is mostly intended for Nissan’s however, they welcome others. They break the trails offered each day into 3 levels, beginner, medium and ridiculous. We have done a few jeep rally’s in the past, and gone to off-road parks and some pretty spectacular trails here in Georgia. So we are feeling pretty confident to hit the Medium level trails. The ridiculous trails require some specific rig upgrades and under armor, but maybe next time! But even then it’s super exciting to go on some of these epic trails like Fins N Things, and Porcupine Rim, not sure we will get our wheels on Hells Revenge, but there is bound to be some squealing out of me! This opportunity pushed Sam to put a lift on the Jeep. So it’s going in on Monday to add 2.5- 3″ which will match the Tiger Moth trailer as well.
